Week 10 Internship Diary: April 7 – 11

I’m officially done with my internship, and my last week included wrapping up many tasks, such as the public service announcement (PSA) and my story on their recent exoneration.

Week 9 Internship Diary: March 31 – April 4

Almost at the finish line. Some of my tasks from the previous week rolled over to this week.

Week 8 Internship Diary: March 24 – 30

The ball is rolling. The Port Chicago 50 Defendants page has finally been published on Bajari.Pro. The official webpage is still being designed, but the contact form is up.

Week 6 Internship Diary: March 10 – 14

This week was dedicated to understanding and creating a public service announcement (PSA) for the ads.

Week 5 Internship Diary: March 3 – 7

I’m officially halfway done with my internship. Last week, Mr. Sikes and I were working on the interview questions for Yuli Padmore, the executive director of the Port Chicago Alliance. He taught me to back my questions up with evidence before asking them. The scheduled meet and greet with Padmore took place on Monday.

Week 4 Internship Diary: Feb. 24 – 28

Week 4 was dedicated to interviews, ads, and web page design. My supervisor, Mr. Sikes, was still on travel on Monday, but he returned on Tuesday.

Week 3 Internship Diary: Feb. 17 – 21

This week marked the third week of my internship with Bajari LLC. Week 3 was dedicated to deep-dive research. My supervisor, Spencer Sikes, was on travel all week, so I was alone.

Week 2 Internship Diary: Feb. 10 – 14

This week marked the second week of my internship at Bajari LLC. Week 2 was dedicated to research planning and preliminary investigations.

Week 1 Internship Diary: Feb 3 – 7

This week, I started my internship at Bajari LLC. Week 1 was dedicated to orientation, and research planning. Orientation consisted of learning the history of Port Chicago (POCH), specifically the Port Chicago 50 (POCH 50).
