The ball is rolling. The Port Chicago 50 Defendants page has finally been published on Bajari.Pro. The official webpage is still being designed, but the contact form is up. This week, I was confused by some of the feedback that Alfredo Rivera, Bajari LLC’s graphic artist, gave me regarding how I gave him feedback. The main keyword he mentioned in his feedback was design baseline. So, I had to email him to confirm what he asked me to do. After receiving his email explaining some details, I began working on my ideas for the public service announcement (PSA) and webpage design.
The end of the week was dedicated to calling Black churches. My job was to call Black churches, confirm the church leader in charge of communications, and obtain their contact information. I also had to receive a brief estimate of the amount of people in their congregation. I started calling from the west to the east coast. I had to leave many voicemails, and the wrong number was listed on their website for two churches. The Calvary Baptist Church and National Baptist Convention have the wrong numbers listed, so I have to find another way to contact them.
