I have three more weeks of my internship left. We are making progress slowly but surely. This week was dedicated to creating sample questions for the U.S. Navy. We began the questions last week, but I was struggling with what type of questions to ask the U.S. Navy. Last week, my supervisor, Spencer Sikes, informed me that Alfredo Rivera, the graphic artist for Bajari, created some visuals for the Public Service Announcement (PSA) and website page that will be presented to me this week. I still had some pre-existing tasks, such as adding more black churches to the list, creating questions for the U.S. Navy, and writing my story.
Mr. Sikes presented the graphics to me on Tuesday. I was tasked with giving feedback on them. Mr. Sikes wanted me to follow this specific formatting when giving feedback: ardgpr2@gmail.com, @spencer@bajari.pro, page # and particular parts, my feedback, and my recommendation to consider. The feedback on the graphics was the only other task given to me this week. My next steps include doing more research on the exoneration and calling some black churches to obtain the name of the communications leader and their contact information.
